Wisata Ziarah Waliyuallah Cut Nyak Dien di Sumedang tidaklah lengkap tanpa mengetahui sejarah kehidupan sang wali Allah, Cut Nyak Dien. Bagaimana sejarah kehidupan sang wali Allah sehingga beliau menjadi inspirasi baik ketika beliau masih hidup hingga kini beliau telah tiada.

Cut Nyak Dien lahir dari keluarga bangsawan yang taat beragama di Aceh Besar pada tahun 1848. Saat berusia 12 tahun, ayahnya Teuku Nanta Setia, menikahkannya dengan Teuku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga, putra dari Uleebalang Lamnga XIII. Dengan Teuku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga, Cut Nyak Dien dikaruniai seorang putera. Tahun 1873, Belanda menyatakan perang, ditandai tembakan meriam ke daratan Aceh dari kapal Citadel van Antwerpen, Acehpun bergelora dan perang Aceh meletus. Pada perang pertama (1873-1874), Aceh yang dipimpin Panglima Polim dan Sultan Machmud Syah takluk dari pasukan Belanda yang dipimpin Johan Harmen Rudolf Kohler (yang merupakan kakek dari penyanyi Ahmad Dhani) dengan kekuatan Belanda mencapai 3198 tentara.

8 April 1873, Belanda mengambil alih kota Aceh dan membakar masjid raya Baiturrahman. Kejadian ini sontak membuat Cut Nyak Dien geram. Ia pun mengajak mengajak rakyat Aceh untuk berjihad melawan Belanda.“Lihatlah wahai orang-orang Aceh! Tempat ibadat kita dirusak. Mereka telah mencoreng nama Allah, sampai kapan kita begini? Sampai kapan kita akan menjadi budak Belanda?” Semangat rakyat Aceh kembali membara. Perang pun dilanjutkan, Cut Nyak Dien memerangi Belanda tanpa rasa takut bahkan di ketika berperang Cut Nyak Dien menggendong putra lelakinya. Perjuangan Cut Nyak Dien beserta rakyat Aceh yang tak kenal menyerah  berhasil memenangkan Kesultanan Aceh di perang pertama. Suami Cut Nyak Dien, Tengku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga yang bertarung di garis depan bersorak gembira setelah Kohler dinyatakan tewas.

Periode 1874-1880 Belanda membalas kekalahannya dengan menduduki wilayah Mukim Aceh. Cut Nyak Dien dan bayinya akhirnya mengungsi pada 24 Desember 1875.Ketika Ibrahim Lamnga bertempur di Gle Tarum, ia tewas pada tanggal 29 Juni 1878.

Setelah dua tahun meninggalnya sang suami, Ibrahim Lamnga, tokoh pejuang Aceh Teuku Umar, melamar Cut Nyak Dhien. Kemudian Cut Nyak Dien menikah dengan Teuku Umar pada tahun 1880. Mereka berduapun bersama - sama memimpin perjuangan rakyat  Aceh melawan  Kaphe Ulanda (Belanda Kafir) dengan bergerilya.

Pilgrimage (Ziarah) Tour Waliyuallah Cut Nyak Dien in Sumedang not be complete without knowing the history of the life of the saint of Allah (waliyuallah), Cut Nyak Dien. How does the history of the wali Allah's life was the inspiration,  when she was still alive until now she has gone.

Cut Nyak Dien was born of noble families who are religious in Aceh Besar in 1848. At the age of 12 years, his father Teuku Nanta Setia, married with Teuku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga , son of uleebalang Lamnga XIII. With Teuku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga, Cut Nyak Dien blessed with a son. 1873, the Dutch declared war, marked cannon fire from the ships, Citadel van Antwerpen to the mainland Aceh. War explode in Aceh. In the first war (1873-1874), Aceh which led by Commander Polim  and Shah Sultan Machmud defeated of Dutch troops led by Johan Harmen Rudolf Kohler (who was the grandfather of singer Ahmad Dhani) with absolut force reach the 3198 Dutch forces soldiers.

8 April 1873, the Dutch took over the city of Aceh and burn mosques Baiturrahman . This incident instantly make  Cut Nyak Dien growled. She  invited the people of Aceh for jihad against the Dutch. "Behold, O people of Aceh! Places of worship (Mesjid) destroyed. They have tarnished the name of Allah, until when are we here? Until when are we going to be a slave to the Netherlands? "The spirit of the Acehnese back burning. The war was resumed, Cut Nyak Dien fought the Dutch without fear even she holding her son  when fighting . Cut Nyak Dien struggle with the people of Aceh, which give winning Sultanate of Aceh in the first war. Cut Nyak Dien's husband, Ibrahim Lamnga who fought on the front line cheered after Kohler was pronounced dead.

Period 1874-1880 the Dutch reply to their defeat by occupying territory of Mukim Aceh (resindential). Cut Nyak Dien and her baby finally evacuated on December 24, 1875. When Cut Nyak Dien's husband, Tengku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga fought in Gle Tarum, he died on June 29, 1878.

After two years the death of her husband, Tengku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga, Aceh hero Teuku Umar, proposed Cut Nyak Dien. Then Cut Nyak Dien and Teuku Umar married in 1880. Together - as leader to the struggle of the Acehnese against Kaphe Ulanda (Dutch is Infidel) with the guerillas war.
